Unlike many other reading comprehension tests such as PTE and TOEFL, IELTS tests students with a variety of question types. One of them is Match the Headings.
This question type expects candidates to read the paragraph and identify the central idea. Sometimes the main idea of the paragraph is explicitly given in the first or the last sentences. But, it is often left to the student to understand.
The other options provided are deliberately made confusing. Matching vocabulary is not the brightest of ideas.
