What evolution can do over what seems like glacial and tectonic time scales is beyond anything even the most advanced of science can imagine. Here is one.
Some insects including those like spiders are covered in hairs that are inconceivably sensitive. The amount of energy that is needed to shift these hair is very close to what physicists refer to as thermal noise - the energy of moving molecules. In other words, they are so sensitve that they can actually sense movements of molecules.
To make sensors like this is impossible with even the most advanced of technology we have. And, to make sensors that are more sensitive than this, the laws of physics need to be broken.
