There are some words you must know irrespective of which competitive exam you are taking. These words are important for IELTS, GRE, TOEFL, Digital SAT, PTE, OET, and More.

 Vivid: (adjective) producing powerful feelings or strong, clear images in the mind.

        Verb form: vivify

        Adverb form: vividly

        Example sentence: The vivid colors of the sunset were breathtaking.

Distant: (adjective) far away in space or time.

        Noun form: distance

        Adverb form: distantly

        Example sentence: The distant mountains looked beautiful in the morning light.

Dreadful: (adjective) causing or involving great suffering, fear, or unhappiness.

        Noun form: dreadfulness

        Adverb form: dreadfully

        Example sentence: The news of the accident was absolutely dreadful.

Faded: (adjective) having lost brightness, color, or sharpness over time.

        Verb form: fade

        Adverb form: fadedly

        Example sentence: The old photograph had faded with time.

Cherished: (adjective) very dear or valuable; highly valued.

Nostalgic: (adjective) characterized by or exhibiting a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.

Fuzzy: (adjective) unclear or indistinct; not sharply defined.
